Walk with us.

Guided Apprenticeship is free for every family, and so is the podcast. The Intentional Dad is a family ministry for men, women and their children, sustained by people who give. We call them Supporters. If what's been offered to you has been a blessing, I simply ask that you prayerfully consider a monthly gift, so it can reach someone else too.

Supporting The Intentional Dad

Okay, we’re almost there. So as we wrap up this orientation, I’d like to talk just a little bit about one more thing, and that’s how this ministry is supported and how you can be part of the work and mission of The Intentional Dad.

But before that, let me start by saying this. Guided Apprenticeship is free for every family, every segment, every practice, everything in this app. Nothing is held back. The book is there as a companion if you’d like it. Coaching is there for you if you need it. But the journey itself is free, so that any family can find their way through.

The Intentional Dad is a nonprofit family ministry for men, women, and their children. And it’s sustained by people who give. We call them Supporters.

So here’s what that will look like. When you finish Awakening Desire, that very first segment, you’ll come to a screen that invites you to become an Apprentice. That’s a commitment, not a payment. It’s simply saying, “I want to keep walking this journey.” It’s free, and the rest of Guided Apprenticeship is open to every Apprentice.

On that same screen, you’ll see a second question: would you also become a Supporter? If Guided Apprenticeship and The Intentional Dad are indeed proving to be a blessing to you and your family, and if you’re able, I simply ask that you prayerfully consider giving a monthly gift in support of the ministry. Through Zeffy, our donation platform, is how you would do that.

And if you can’t, on that same page in the app, you’ll see a button that says, “I can’t become a supporter right now.” I want you to know, that is completely okay. Really. Tap it, and you’ll continue into the rest of Guided Apprenticeship with exactly the same experience. Nothing changes. Supporters and Apprentices walk exactly the same journey in the app. Your gift doesn’t change what you receive. It’s simply a gift, a gift for which we would be incredibly grateful.

So why give at all? Well, because what’s been offered to you can reach someone else. Your gift keeps the Guided Apprenticeship app free for every family, keeps the podcast going, and it helps bring things like workshops within reach. It’s a way of walking with us, so that another dad, another mom, another family can begin finding their way through that Sacred Gap too.

And there are other ways to support this ministry as well. Pray for the families on this journey. Share a podcast episode with a friend, or, as we mentioned in the last video, share Guided Apprenticeship with someone. All of that matters too.

Remember the difference we talked about between effort and earning? That’s true here too. You don’t earn your place in this community. You already have one.

So this is the last of the orientation videos. Next, you’ll have the option to take a quick tour of the app, and then you begin. I’m so glad that you’re here. Remember, start small. It’s not a race. Take your time, be present, and pay attention to how you’re being fathered along the way.

And as you go, remember, you’re loved, you belong, you’re chosen, you have nothing to prove. So welcome to Guided Apprenticeship. Let’s get started.
